I am having my pool deck replaced and am doing most of the work myself besides concrete. I have ran a new bond wire from the pump, all the way around the pool, hooked into the aluminum coping. My concrete guy said he is going to use fiberglass rebar. So as far as bonding goes, do I need to do anything with the deck? My coping, pump, and ladder cups are all bonded.

So if I run my #8 wire throughout the pool deck should it be buried in the sub grade or does the wire need to be In the concrete ?
