Salt Generator issue

Hi, due to an issue with my 15amp outlet and having to wait a few weeks to get the replacement, I had to plug my pool pump in independently from my hayward aqua troll system. Now the system will not generate.
Could this be because the pump is not plugged in to the aqua troll box? Power and super chlorinated are lit as well as check salt and inspect cell. May just need a new salt cell, but curious if the pump being plugged in independently could be causing the problem. Thanks in advance

Welcome to TFP.

The Aquatrol does not care if the pump is plugged into it to operate the SWG cell.

This is the basic information we need to know in diagnosing a problem:
  • Report all readings when you..
    • Move the switch from auto to off and check all of the readings.
    • Move the switch back to auto and recheck the readings.
    • Move the switch to off for a minute and then back to auto and recheck the readings.
  • What are the first seven characters of the cell and box serial numbers?
  • What is the actual salinity and how are you measuring it?

Thank. Auto to off just power is lit.
Off to auto it initally says power and generating for about a minute. Then generating goes off and check salt and inspect cell comes on .
Same readings when you turn off for a minute.
Box 3A13295 cell is a turbo cell t-cell-5
Thank you
