When backwash my pool, the pressure is going high

Hi,

This year, when i opened my pool, when i try to backwash my pool, my sand filter pressure is high as usual. In the past when i backwash my pool, it is normally 21 psi, but this year when i backwash, i see it is going to 29. Could you let me know what wrong with my sand filter?
 
Is your filter going to 29 PSI during the backwash or after the backwash is completed and should be clean?

What is the filter pressure before you begin the backwash?
 
before backwash and after backwash are same 21 psi, just start with backwash is going to high to 29 psi.

Also i see there are some water leaking between the tank and FLANGE.
