Im always so bad at judging the color of the PH test, can anyone help me out?

Darker than 7.2. (Higher)
More peach and less pink than 7.5 (lower)
So split the difference whichever way you feel it leans between the two. I'd go that its closer to matching 7.5, so 7.4.

Only two colors that matter are yellow and purple. Yellow means it is too low- below 7, and purple is too high- above 8.

A consistent background is key. To get good backlighting, hold the block in front of your computer monitor/tablet/phone with a blank white screen displayed. Also, try holding the block sideways or upside down. Sometimes that helps distinguish colors better. I also use two old hotel keycards to mask off areas and narrow down my decision.

Try using 4 drops of reagent instead of 5.

I have to use only three drops of reagent. Even with four drops, the intensity of the water sample color is too much for the comparator block.
