HTH CYA Powder not Dissolving

I placed 4lbs into the skimmer and it’s not dissolving. Been over 2 full days now. It’s getting clogged in the return/supply lines (I believe) in the skimmer.

New pool owner. Live and learn. Very annoying. Any advice on how to unclog or will it dissolve after several more days on its own?
 
You should not add chemicals to the skimmer. CYA granules work well using the sock method which is filling a tube sock with the granules and hanging it in front of a pool return. It can then be squeezed once in a while to help it dissolve.

I’ve had to reach my hand down in the skimmer to grab the powder in both ports in the skimmer. This helped loosen the powder to help it dissolve, but there’s still quite a lot left that needs to dissolve.

Also, any idea why a couple of my jets have worked great but the other 2 jets hardly have any force behind it not flowing?

Are they adjustable jets? Do they have individual lines (with valves) from the pad for each jet or are they grouped together?
