Maytronics Dolphin Drive Motor

I have a 7 year old Maytronics Dolphin S300 that suddenly died last week. I did an autopsy and found water inside had wiped out the circuit board. The motors seem to have survived unaffected. Turn freely and we’re working right up until sudden total failure of the unit. I have replaced the unit with a new EVO 604. So if anyone wants a motor or main power supply, let me know before I dispose of it.
Well shoot I should've paid attention to this thread as your motor might have worked for me (they don't sell the motor, only the entire motor assembly for>$400). I've been manually vacuuming since then but looking to finally get another bot. How do you like your EVO 604? I've been reading about lots of problems with those too and basically no service centers around. Appreciate your thoughts!

All I can say about the EVO is, so far, so good. Early days, but seems close in quality and performance to Maytronics, at a lower price.

Thanks for your response. How easy is it to troubleshoot? (e.g. on the Dolphins it's pretty easy to clear clogs in the impeller, etc.) I have a lot of leaves and long pine needles to deal with. Is it easy/straightforward to disassemble for clogs?

Easier than the Maytronics. Lift the lid and spin off a cover to access and clear the impeller. Literally takes two seconds.
