After the recent dust storm we had I in Central Texas I noticed a ton of very fine dust/sand/silt that keeps collecting on the bottom of the pool. When brush it turns into a cloud and disappears but once settled it looks like the attached pictures.

I will admit there were a few times on 3/14 & 3/20 where my FC dropped below the target due too neglect on my part. I was hoping that it was not algae so last night I performed the OCLT, tested and passed this morning.

What is the best way to help get this resolved? Couple things I’m doing or plan to do is run the robot vacuum daily & Sunday I will clean the cartridge filters.

It's been pretty windy in most of Texas the last few weeks. It's also the time when pollen covers everything. Also leaves, but maybe you don't have many trees near your pool.

I've been running my robot twice a day right now. Most of the year I only run it every week or 2. Once with the regular filter to get all the leaves and then with the ultra fine filter immediately after to get as much of the fine dust/dirt that I can. And then it all reappears again the next day so I do it all over.

+1 that spring sprung by you, or will very soon.

And Kudos for firing off an OCLT so you knew you had time to scratch your head about it. :salut:

Had the same here in the Austin area but it's mostly passed. I brush 1-2 times a day and run my robot every day. I also keep a robotic skimmer running 24/7 (with the exception of when the Hayward robot is running).
