Any tips for cleaning the waterline of pebblecrete pool?

Just pasted a nasty storm (cyclone) and rebalanced my pool and noticed the waterline is looking pretty average.

It’s a pebblecrete pool with no coping tiles. It seems like the issue is worst at each grout line of the tile surround, so presume a leading contributor has been water run off into the pool.

Aside from the cause, what I’m really interested in is how can I start to fix it. Open to any and all suggestions…

You can fix it by installing waterline tile. Waterline tile provides a hard surface that can be cleaned, unlike plaster.

No way to clean that without damaging the plaster over time. You can use acid on it or try polishing the area. Eventually you will wear those areas down from the constant cleaning.
