Pools Reviews

I can't see any pool going in without speed bumps. I don't see most people understanding them, to not take it out on their PBs competence.

For my 2nd pool, most of the sub crews were terrible. With each visit to correct what they fouled up, they left more foul ups requiring more visits, which then required more visits. It was a mess. But the PBs hands were tied with the covid shortage of crews so he couldn't get new people as badly as he wanted to.

He answered every last call of mine on the second ring. Once he was on vacation with his family and once he was out of state at a trade show. He told me to call his office and what to tell them to do in his absence both times. For all it sucked and all the problems we had; i still give him top marks. Many wouldn't see it that way.

Then there is the sucky PBs, who also have sucky crews.......

It seems all the inground pools companies around me have bad Yelp reviews. Can't figure it out.
IMO - most people only post bad reviews. Someone who is pleased with the outcome is lounging in the pool.
Some people do make an effort to post good reviews so you have to balance what the issues are in the review vs just the rating.
Pools, houses, outside kitchens, etc all have challenges and would not expect any to go 100% smooth.
I would focus on how the pool builder recovered from the mishap rather than just the mishap.
