I have these same in a new in ground spa and when you say open/close....mine move left or right but I can't tell any difference. What is it supposed to open/close or do? Was hoping to get a better flow that doesn't have the big burping bubbles that flow up and "almost over" the spa. I've read a few threads here on possible too much blower air/pressure? Will call my PB as they just turned it over to us this last week.
Still curious though what the consensus is on what the open/close actually does.
