Yellow Line Along Waterline

Hi there,

I’ve recently noticed a yellow line along my waterline. It easily rubs off and creates some clouds in the water around it and then dissolves away. Does anyone know what this is / how to fix it?

Water seems clear other than that. I’ve shown some pics of the waterline, the pool, some equipment and some plants edging into the pool that I need to clean up.

For reference, pool chem was ok when I tested a few days ago. SWG pool, 65K L.

Is it yellow/mustard algae? Or is it just a scum line?

Why did you post pictures of you letting your garden grow into your pool? Are you looking for someone to tell you to stop doing that? OK, I'll bite. Stop doing that! 🤣

Is this a swimming pool sanitized with chlorine? The chlorine is not good for the plants, and the plants are not good for the water. Even the plants are telling you that! ⚠️ Some of them have put up little yellow triangular warning signs! And the other plant is try to end it all, due to its suffering! ;)

One of chlorine's primary jobs in swimming pool water is to "consume" organics, uh, like anything that grows! So the chlorine is trying to kill your plants and the plants are just contributing to the unnecessary use (and so replenishment) of the chlorine.

"Warning! Warning!
