I replaced my jacuzzi JVX300 motor with a jacuzzi VSP250 motor. I spoke with Leslie Pools, where I purchased the original pump, and confirmed the VSP250 would work with my current set up. The JVX motor was discontinued and I did not want to purchase a whole new pump, but just replace the motor as mine froze. I purchased the new motor online from Voomisupply. I connected the controller to the motor and reconnected the power. When I turn on the breaker, the control panel lights up. When I attempt to turn on the pump in manual mode, the impeller will slightly rotate then stop. Then the control panel goes into the off position.
Is it possible the controller will not work with this motor? Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
