MOD Insert:
While reviewing our monthly TFP photo contest thread, it occurred to us that we don't have a thread exclusively for funny, amazing, weird, or unusual pool pics. And you KNOW there are lots of them. How did we miss that one? :hammer: A special thank you to @JessBlount617 for starting a similar thread of her own, so we joined forces here to showcase them all in one place.

So let's have some fun with some entertaining pics that don't necessarily qualify for our monthly TFP photo's contest categories, but are fun to look at anyway.

IMPORTANT - KEEP IT CLEAN PLEASE. TFP is family oriented, so nothing that crosses the line in taste or etiquette, otherwise we'll be forced to delete it. Other than that, feel free to share your funny, amazing, weird, and unusual pool pics here.

This fella was swimming around having a grand old time. My son says it’s a “rhino beetle”IMG_8040.jpeg

lol, I get snakes in my pool all the time. Most common visitors actually for me. I only freak out when it’s a copperhead. 99% of the time they are little earth snakes.
We don’t see many snakes. It’s a treat when we do; well, at least the non-venomous ones (I’ve never seen a venomous snake here). 😄

No venomous snakes? We have copperheads and cottonmouths, copperheads mostly and they aren’t rare at all, we have to keep a lookout for them.

We do have three native venomous species in our part of VA (Cottonmouth, Copperhead, Canebrake Rattlesnake), but I’ve only ever seen one, a Cottonmouth, in the wild (at a local nature preserve) in the 49 years I’ve lived here.

Cottonmouths are no joke. More venomous then a copperhead and mean. They are very aggressive copperheads try to get away from you if they can, cottonmouths will chase you. We don’t have rattlesnakes near me, but they can be found at a national park that’s 30 miles away from me. Never seen one while hiking there though.

Didn't watch where I was stepping,
That was me last week. I busted-up my body (legs and wrist too) big time hitting the coping on the way down. It gave me a butt-whippin'. My left cheek has a dark bruise the shape of my flagstone coping. Everyone will just have take my word on that one. :)
