Hi All,

My heater does not have a bypass which surprised me considering how easy it would have been to do during the build. Should I have one? Should I pay a plumber to come add one? What would you do?

I think every heater or heat pump should have one. All it takes is a 3-way diverter and a check valve. It's very easy to add during initial construction, and shouldn't be hard to retrofit on most equipment pads. Can you post pictures of your equipment from different angles?
