Be sure that the lid O ring has lube on it. Swapping a lid that doesn't have lube with another of the same won't fix the problem.I had an issue with my pool sweep and someone came out and I believe played with the valves. Ever since, there seems to be a little bit of air under the pump lid.
I switched the lids with my fountain filter and same issue.
Thank you, I tried that in the correct placement - no luck.
You are pulling air in on the suction side. Check your valves, etc.
I tried that....the pool sweep was low pressure prior to this, so the guy adjusted something and now this issue started (although I put it back to the original position). Here's a pictureYou mentioned a pool sweep. How does that connect to the system? Is it a suction cleaner? Turn off the valve to it and see if the bubbles go away.

I did the pool sweep valve is bottom leftTurn the pool sweep valve so it shuts off that line. The handle would be up.
sorry, under the valve actuator on the bottom left side of the photo.Turn the pool sweep valve so it shuts off that line. The handle would be up.
Looks like pressure side, non-booster cleaner, probably a 360.Do not see a valve on that line. And odd to plumb the suction port on that line.
