Alright, question…
My in-ground pool (4400gal fiberglass) was built in 2019. All equipment warranties expired. Big leak in heater, no bypass so can’t run pump at the moment (I know… lesson learned, getting all that fixed in 6 weeks when I can afford it and adding a bypass). Meanwhile, I can’t run pump due to huge leak.
Sooooo the question is…. I have (potentially)
a pump designed for above ground pool. Can I temporarily use it to circulate water if I prime the heck out of it? It will be above the water line, so I’m not certain if it’s worth it while I wait. Just trying to keep the water from going super stagnant (in central Texas with heat) while I wait until the finances are set for the big fix in April.
Pump available is Rx Clear® 12" Sand Filter System w/ 1/2 HP Pump - PoolSupplies.com
