Need a quick refresher. I have been using muriatic acid to lower pH in our pool. Pool company says we should use dry acid, as it allows swimmers to enter the pool sooner. They say swimmers should not be in the pool for at least 30 minutes after adding muriatic acid.
Can anyone comment on muriatic acid vs. dry acid in terms of the time it needs to disperse in the pool and which is safer? Any other advantages or disadvantages to using one over the other? (I know muriatic acid is cheaper so I prefer it for that reason.)

They say a 150 CYA is fine.

They say to run 1 to 3 FC (when you might lose 4 per day )

They say to add a bunch of copper laced algecide or tabs, then they say 'why is your copper level high'.

They say their liquid shock is 'like 99%'.

They say you need to blindly shock the pool once a week.

Don't even get me started old friend. I can go all day. 🤣
