Hello, so we have gotten some heavy rain and I noticed the water level is almost to the top of the skimmer. More rain in the forecast for next 3-4 days. I have a Pentair Multiport valve, is it best to drain from rinse or from waste setting? Thanks.

You may as well backwash to take advantage of the water that you wouldn't need to replace.
