Going a a Traditional 33x15 rectangular pool, 3-6’, no spa. Travertine deck, pebblesheen, Mediterranean with glass. Large baja step 7’ @ 18”. They do Hayward equipment, lots of PB do in AZ I found out. 2.7hp VS pump, 525 cartridge filter, automation, SWG for up to 40k gallons, AquaCA SQ166 HeatPump/chiller. Will post rendering in a couple days. doing a 12ft long water wall 18” tall with 2 24” sheer decent water features, one each end of the wall will be a 24x24x24 column with cap and stacked ledger stone.

Same thing with this build, you Find so much good and bad with PBs it’s hard to determine who is the better option. Looking like builds are going 6-9 months, here in AZ. It’s been a hot July.

18" baja step seems a little deep to me. Is that actual water depth or pool wall? Why do you want it so deep? We have 12" of water and that seems perfect. You have to think how you will use the shelf. Will you put furniture on it? 18" might be too deep for furniture.

This is 18” deep on my last pool, it’s the perfect depth for the chairs, the water stays cooler, and you can float over the shelf without bottoming out. Loved it for 6 years in my last pool so doing it again. We are putting up an Aluminum pergola cover 12’x12’ in the area you see grass, that will now be continuous travertine, the pergola will be a solid roof, and have a fan, can lights and outlets. The pool wall design is being worked on, in this rendering the wall is about 30ft long an is 12” high over the water and goes to 18” night with 2 sheer descents all stacked stone. We are thinking shortening the wall to 16 feet, but making the 12 feet of it 18” high and using the waterline tile instead of stacked stone and then having two columns on each end that are 24”24x24 and those would be wrapped in stacked stone and capped with travertine. The sheer descents would be 2ft wide instead of 4 and there would be 2.

the pool depth is 3’ to 6’.
