Advice on sand filter replumb

I replaced my sand filter and did some replumbing. This 90 has cracked on me twice. Could it be faulty pvc or is this 90 in a bad spot? Thanks in advance for any help!

Is that the single speed model of that pump? If so, with no way to run at a lower rpm, perhaps a sweep elbow would work better.

Yes. Single speed pump.

Is the pump secured to the pad? If not, maybe it's moving around, vibrating, causing unnecessary stress on that fitting.

I'll try that this time. I'm just hoping it's not vibration related or tension being put on it .

It is not secured to the concrete.

The way that section of pipe is situated, all of the stress seems to be on that one 90° fitting. Not sure exactly what the solution is. It wouldn't take much to secure the pump to the concrete to prevent movement. What do you think?

Shouldn't be hard. I have the tools to do it.

I'm going to swap out the el's downstream of the pump and bolt it down. Hopefully that'll do it.
