Replaster while rebuilding house

We are rebuilding our house and intend to replaster the pool and redo concrete deck and new pool equipment at the same time. We will also replumb to put new pool equipment under the elevated house.

i have 2 questions for the group...
1. The last time we replastered We found a guy in SC that travels around the state and he did the replaster for 10k. I reached out to him and he no longer travels. I just got a quote for 30k from another company. What is the going rate for just a replaster and tile/cove job in SC?

2. We are doing the concrete around the pool as part of the home rebuild. Is it wise to leave the water in the pool during rebuild and then replaster at the end of the build? Should we drain the pool? We have a very high water table. We will be redoing all plumbing and adding new pool equipment. Everything is at the end of its life. Any suggestions on timeline are appreciated. Thanks

My suggestion for the time line of the repairs and upgrades would be as follows,
pool equipment and plumbing prior to any deck of other flat work being installed.
Deck work prior to the new plaster being applied, you want no other work being performed around the pool that has the chance to stain or affect the final finish of the pool surface and this includes the modeling of the house.

Hello, We have 12 year old plaster and while we were away for an extended period of time, the pool company serviced the pool. We now have a black algae problem. I know I can tackle this, however, was curious about how old you let plaster get before replacing it. There are some chips and pitting. We are also rebuilding our house and we won't be able to maintain the levels during the home build as we will not live that close. Would you keep the pool filled in and maintain levels sort of during the build, and replaster so it's new with the house?

How much is pool replastering per SF in SC? Looking for a range as I know this varies widely based on what you choose. Thanks!
Also, if you have recommendations on replaster contractors that serve Charleston, SC...please let me know. We used Brothers from GA but they no longer travel here and we're looking to hire the actual plasterer rather than the contractor that subs it out. Thanks!
