I was nervous about my off center pavers and I guess it turns out that concern was valid. I see this morning that the paver has sunk at the edge the leg was sitting on and lifted on the other side. The edge of the pool is bowing outward somewhat.

Can anyone please advise how bad this is? Is it a leave it alone and reset at end of the season type thing or more dire of a situation requiring immediate correction?

That's unfortunate. :( Looks like the other pavers are doing the same thing. I think you have a bit of a ticking time bomb going on there, and if you don't fix those paver bases that side could really shift and possibly come down.
you're right that they are all lifting somewhat, but this one is the worst by far.

Do you suppose I could just monitor for signs of worsening or is this the type of thing to suddenly go?

Yours is one of those scenarios that worries me. If that side collapses, that fence and anything next to it is gone. From a TFP perspective, it needs to be corrected. If you chose to wait & watch, that's certainly your call. Be careful though. Lots of pressure there.

Oof... I would LIKE to watch and wait, but truthfully I have no experience at all here. I am considering to at least get through the 4th holiday and let the kids test drive it before draining and correcting, but if this is in imminent danger, maybe a trip to the public pool is in order instead..?

I LOVE these pools. The let SO many people into the game, and truth be told, the bleacher seats are more fun anyway.

That said, it's a bag full of water. They rock and shift when the legs are on a solid base. Yours might go too far, not on a solid base.

If the kids go in, limit their wave pool action until you're comfortable that it's not shifting any worse than it is.

Water temp hadn't heated up very much and my daughter took a dip. She got to experience "having her own pool" and also got put off by the chilly temp lol. It's draining now for resetting and hopefully a TF rest of the summer.

This is exactly what happened to me last year after being up for 2 years. My pool was off a full 3 inches. My only saving grace was it was a the end of the year and I took it down for the fall and just tackled the issue this spring. My new setup is 6 inches of pea gravel on top of virgin dirt, (2) 16x16x1.75 pavers stacked (I found the 16x16x4 too late in the game) We have had 6 kids in the pool ages 6 to 16 and have had zero issues.

last few inches of water left to go. I can already tell in retrospect, this will be just a few days' inconvenience against peace of mind for the summer/hopefully the next few years to come. thank you for all of the expert/friendly advice

pea gravel is exactly what i bought to shore up this side that doesn't seem compact enough. Also bought another set of 16x8x4 pavers to double up on each leg to give some extra breathing room on the placement
