Replacing above ground pool

I’ve had an Intex above ground pool for 10 years and have had an Intex salt water filter pump with it. Last year I replace the salt water pump with an Intex sand salt water pump.
This year I need to replace the pool. However, the new pools don’t seem to have the same hose connections as my old pool. The one I had the hoses were threaded connections and the new ones seem to be all clamped on.
I’m concerned that I won’t be able to connect my salt water pump to a new pool.
Can anyone tell me what pool has the screw on, threaded hose connections that would work with my pump?
I want to get an Intex ultra pool 16 cx48 or 52.

First, welcome to TFP!! I hope you’ve been following the TFP maintenance to keep your water crystal clear without using nasty pool store junk.

I have the Ultra XTR 18’x52”. The standard connections for the suction side is a “T” system. There is a plunger valve that has the typical Intex 2” OD, 1.5” ID hose, with threads. The other 2 sides of that are 1” / 1.25” hoses that are clamped on and connect to the actual outlets from the pool where they clamp on as well. So the connection from the T plunger valve to the pump is the typical screw on hose. Same for the outlet / return side, screw on.

I’d recommend just going ahead and getting a through wall skimmer right off the bat. That will give you a threaded connection right off the bottom of the skimmer and be at the 1.5” ID size (MUCH more flow). I just did this conversion and it’s amazing! I used skimmer that’s in my signature, then you’ll need a 40mm to 2” adapter (made by GAME), and for ease of shutoff for cleaning and such a standard Intex plunger valve like the one they give you for the return jet side.

Somewhere in the build thread in my signature, I describe how to make adaptors for your Intex pump/filter so you can use 1.5 PVC throughout. I used 1.5” Flex PVC to make my new hoses for my Intex pool, since I wasn’t quite ready to go full on rigid PVC.
