Hello, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of this group. We had a fiberglass pool installed last year. I decided on concrete coping and and I am less than thrilled with how it looks. Where the concrete meets the fiberglass, it is very messy and sloppy looking. I'm thinking that adding waterline tile may help to cover it. I didn't want waterline tile when we were building because I didn't want anything extra to clean or have to repair in the future. Lazy, I know. Now I am just stuck and don't know what to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Oooooh. I see what you mean. While that can be a tricky area, the contractor could've done a much better job. They are supposed to be "pros" after all right? Ha Have you discussed this with them, or are they in your rear view mirror by now? The ideal remedy from here is to scrape/remove that current grout and replace it with new grout/mortar or perhaps polyurethane bead material that can be applied evenly and smooth. Shame they did such a pool job. Mine just hit 10 years old and will be on my to-do list eventually.
