Trouble Keeping Ph Below 8.0

So we are new pool owners, on season 2. We have an IntelliChem with a salt generator and a Muriatic Acid auto dispenser. The pool is hitting its daily limit of 12 doses of 12oz each from the dispenser and I am still using dry acid in addition as directed by the pool installer to try to keep the Ph down. Alkaline is sitting around 60 and Free Chlorine is around 3.5. I have the jets pointed down and the deck jets are off except when we are in the water. The trouble seemed to start after I found a decapitated frog in my skimmer. It is checked daily so it would not have been there long. This has been ongoing for about 4 weeks now and this morning I got up to a Ph of 8.2. The pool has been shocked with the Clorox Shock the last 2 weeks in a row. Any suggestions on thigs to check would be greatly appreciated.

This is a 19,000gal Fiberglass pool.

I now use 3 different tests to confirm. The IntelliChem sensor and its real-time display is the main indication I use because that actually controls the MA dispensing. Second for a spot check of FC, Ph, and TA I use an Aquacheck digital. Third for more complete testing I use a Taylor 6-way.

The only sources I am aware of for aeration would be the deck jets and the returns.

Up to you. At a TA of 50, it is chemically difficult to have a pH of that level without chemical intervention.

Ok went out an picked up some new reagents for the drip tests just to be safe. Apparently one of the Alkalinity items had gone bad. My Alkalinity is at 200 based on the new drip test. Ph was confirmed accurate at 8.2 using the drip again. So 8.2 on the IntelliChem, 8.4 on Accucheck Digital and 8.2 on drip. So my guess is guetting the Alkalinity down first then working from there?
