Filter pressure increased after cleaning cartridge

Default is percentage. I will have to see if it shows rpms anywhere. I should be able to figure out the skimming and SWG, but I’m not sure about the solar. I haven’t seen anywhere to adjust the setting.
What brand/size solar collectors do you have and how many? From my research, most state they run optimally 1gpm per 10sq ft. I have 10 4x12.5 solar pool supply panels so 500 sq ft, suggested flow being 45-50gpm total. With my configuration and vsp that works out to around 1900rpm. My ic40 senses flow at about 1000rpm so I have it set to run at 1100 except when the solar is activated and it kicks up to 1900.

I know that your pool is new, but if you got a older style of filter I had symptoms very similar to this on my pool that we inherited when we bought our house.

If you have an older model of Hayward Cartridge Filter (Pre 2012) then the manifold and/or the outtake elbow on the bottom is likely damaged.

You can check if you have an older filter fairly easily: Your outlet would be on the bottom and the intake would be on the top. This was a design flaw where the weight of the cartridges will eventually damage the manifold and/or outlet elbow causing increased pressure in the filter.

It can be repaired by yourself for ~$150-$200 (I had to to this myself)

Check out this video I found on youtube for more information:

Post-2012, Hayward redesigned their cartridge filters so that the outtake is on the top and the intake is on the bottom, negating the issue of weight damaging the manifold + outtake elbow. (Meaning if you bought a new filter you would have to re-plumb the pipes to reverse the intake/outtake)
