If your like me and need to raise your stabilizer and get your FC up for spring I found these on amazon..Other brands were twice as much so not sure how long these will be around.
My Walmart ( even thought the app says they do ) never has Liquid anymore and the prices at HomeDepot make me want to hug my SWG :)

I used a couple bags and seems like normal stuff.

Never heard of this but it says when it breaks down it create CYA.
 
Keep in mind it's only 43.5% trichlor, so you're only getting about 2.6 pounds of trichlor in that 6 pound package. That's about 13 ppm FC in a 23,000 gallon pool.

The other half is most likely baking soda. It's added to offset the considerable acidity of trichlor. Ruined my attempt to use powder trichlor to open my pool when it had high pH and low CYA one year. Left with good chlorine, good CYA, and uncontrollably high pH for a couple weeks.

Haven’t really seen any true Trichlor in a bag in a long time just pucks- the percentages make it hard to trust. What’s the other stuff? It’s a guess 🤷‍♀️
If I were going to buy a solid form of chlorine I would go with 99% dichlor (minding its acidic & cya effects of course) or a high percentage (70+%) cal hypo if my ph couldn’t take the hit since I have very low ch water. Currently I have basically a lifetime supply of plain trichlor pucks so that’s what I use if a dab of cya & fc is needed & I am low on liquid chlorine.
