Just received an email with a notification that there is a firmware upgrade available.
Sure enough in the app, I see the notification.

I go to my Omnilogic control panel and follow the steps.
Message shows current version as R4.7.0 and available version is R4.4.1
Is R4.4.1 an upgrade to R4.7.0?

When I follow the steps on the panel screen, I then get a warning message-

"Downloading is not advisable, new features and components may no longer work.
You may be required to reconfigure the system. Are you sure you want to continue?"

I stopped and didn't upgrade.

Suggestions?

Version 4.7.0 is the latest release, and v4.4.1 was an older version in 2022; not sure why the system triggered an update notice, but I would definitely recommend not attempting to downgrade and just ignore it. I’d assume this was just an error pushed out by Hayward’s server that will clear soon.

4.7.0 is a new release, but is not part of the automated release channel. It has to be installed manually from a USB stick. The automated process doesn't see this version as the latest in the automated channel, and throws an alarm. I understand how and why it works, but this is a programming bug in my opinion. It won't hurt anything.
