Never heard of it, but it is copper. You do not want copper in your pool. While it can be effective in killing algae, my understanding is that it does not kill bacteria, viruses, etc that can make swimmers sick.

Just another copper algaecide being sold by pushing misinformation regarding chlorine while hiding what's really in the product behind terms like "minerals" and "ions".
