New to the forum!

Welcome to TFP! Bugs are just part of the pool world. They're attracted to our clear/clean water. In many cases a grouping of bugs (worms, caterpillars, ants, etc) are migratory once or twice a season then you don't such high numbers. All you can so is apply some pesticide treatments around the perimeter of your pool to help try and mitigate access. Scoop any bugs out as soon as you can. Also use a skimmer sock to catch bugs floating on the surface.

Be sure to visit our Pool Care Basics page and update your signature. Enjoy the forum. :swim:

Hey Lisa 😊
If you are also having issues with your pool not being clear you may have an algae problem.
We use the SLAM Process to solve the algae problem.
A proper test kit is the 1st step & needed to do the slam process & follow the TFP protocols afterwards (Taylor k2006c or tf100/pro) Test Kits Compared
