Hello,
We got our pool/spa replastered in January (which are adjoined). The company that did it also maintains our pool. We've had a leak since then that's gotten progressively worse. After two rounds of leak detection we finally learned that it's coming from a spa jet. The leak detection company said it was a cracked wall fitting, and that the jet would probably need to be drilled and resealed. The owner of the pool company (who did the re surface) says he's going to schedule an appointment to just put epoxy on/it to stop the leak. Is that a sloppy temporary fix? Does anyone here know what protocol is in terms of a solid, lasting repair? The pool company owner seems to just want the problem to go away. I tried to upload the 10-second video here but I don't think this forum allows videos. So I uploaded it to YouTube in case some good Samaritan here is willing to weigh in. Thank you.
