Hi there wondering if anyone else has this model
SP32900VSP

Based on some videos that I watched you were supposed to be able to adjust the duration of the Quickstart speed buttons in the settings but when I go into the configuration in the speed section it only lets me adjust the default speed for that button not the duration. Second thing is one of the videos showed that after you press the speed button you can adjust both the speed and the run time directly while it’s running I don’t seem to be able to do this either I’ve reached out to Hayward to find out if they change that in the controls I also don’t have any LED indicators which seems to be in some of the videos but maybe that’s a different model or they’ve change the design anyone knows let me know thank you

Let's give your post a bump to see if we can find some other Hayward pump owners.

I went to the Hayward site, and it linked me to this manual for your pump
Based on the manual, you can change speeds but not durations for the preset speed buttons.

I looked at my pump manual, and it shows that I can change durations too. And my panel looks identical to yours, so its confusing.
I haven't used those buttons in forever, I can remote control my pump.

Thanks ..the automation is planned for next year
Blew the budget this year so that will address it eventually

Still haven’t heard back from hayward I’m wondering they changed function on a revision

You can set each of the speed buttons for a specific speed.
You can set a program to run at any desired speed for a set amount of time.
I believe program 1 needs to be the lowest speed you intend to run. Then program 2 at the next to lowest speed, etc.

If you press a speed button and then the right arrow key, the pump will run at that speed until the next program time.

My Tristar 950VSP is set to run at 1100rpm from 7:15am to 7:00am (basically 24 hours minus 15 minutes) and at 2800rpm from 6:00am to 8:00am and 4:00pm to 6:00pm (infloor cleaning system). Having the times overlap seems to prevent the pump from needing to run at priming speed (3000rpm in my case) whenever it changes speed. So I am using three of the programs to set this schedule. I can also manually select one of the preset speeds to run until the next program change. This is different than the Ecostar SP3400 that the Tristar 950 replaced. The Ecostar allowed picking one of the four preset speeds and the ability to manually run it for a selectable amount of time.

What are you trying to obtain by manually running a specific speed for a set amount of time?
