I have a 40 x 20 Saltwater pool and I am trying to change the shaft seal on a new century B2843, but the motor leaks arouns the seal
Plate. i have dissemble the motor again, and hooefuly this time i make sure that i have t touch the shaft seals with my hands. hopefully this works .
PS when i received the new motor the capacitor was bended. I don’t know if the new capacitators models are made different these days. But im a bit worried about that issue. When i start the pump it was making a weird noise and leaking water. All i could think about was either the bent on the pump or the shaft seals being dirty. Ill keep you posted on my progress.
