So we live in a rental and the pool service is included with rent. He comes once a week and a couple days later the pool is cloudy. Not sure what he’s adding or what he’s been doing.
Anyways we’d like to get things on track ourselves. Ordering a TF100 kit to get accurate tests but in the meantime have included a pic of latest test.
12,000 gallon pool
Also in Phoenix where it’s regularly 110 degrees everyday right now.
Welcome to TFP! You have algae. The weekly dump & run service with tabs or whatever has caught-up with the water. The CYA is probably much too high requiring a partial water exchange to lower it. You'll confirm once your kit arrives.
Also be prepared to do a diluted CYA test of your own using the link below starting at Step #8. We'll be here to help once your kit arrives. One more thing, try to update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info. Include your test kit too. It will help later.
