Hello...we're in the first week here. Pool company set the filter schedule and today was the first day for it. It's 8-2 at 100% and then 2-8 on 50%.

It came on at 8am as scheduled--however the home page and filter pump section on app did not reflect that it was on until 9am. My wife set up the initial stuff and thinks she may have set it up with the wrong time zone perhaps? The schedule section of the app does have the correct schedule.

Where can I double check the time zone? I don't see any spot on the app that allows me to even see the current time and/or make that change. I can change the "current pool time" on the Hayward website but that is set correctly. Not sure what to do here....

I'm certainly no expert like others but I do have an omnihub system so I'll throw in my 2 cents. I believe what I have is probably mostly the same as what you have as far as settings are concerned. One thing to make sure of on the schedules, is set your new schedule to start say 2 minutes before your old schedule ends. For example, with your current schedule of 8-2 at 100% and then 2-8 at 50%, I'd set it as follows:

7:58 am to 2 pm at 100%
1:58 pm to 8:00 am at 50%

I'll attach a screenshot of my pump run times just to give you an idea. Why? In my experience, If you start and stop right at 2 pm, it sometimes can be buggy and shut off at 2 pm and not run the next schedule. They may have adjusted this in updates but if you've noticed it shutting off....that's probably why. It happened to me in the past.

As for the time zone, you definitely can set that but I'm trying to remember how. You can't set it in the phone app, you'll have to go out to the actual panel. I want to say its in config wizard (have to put in your msp id most likely). You can find that by clicking about on your hayward omni app on your phone or by checking system info. You should also probably update your system to the newest version if it isn't already. Somewhere around 4.3 I believe is the newest version. Depending on the version you have now it can do it OTA or if its too old you'll have to use a USB for the 1st time. I'm pretty sure the time zone thing was addressed/moved in one of the latest updates. If you have any questions about that there's info that can be linked that goes through all of that.

You'll probably want to set the time zone to to auto detect. I can give specifics later on if you're still having trouble and/or nobody else has helped you. I do think its in config wizard somewhere though.

Page 27 onward of the linked document explains how to set the date & time. If you set date & time off the internet (does your system have the internet bridge?), you should also make sure your zipcode is accurate in the configuation wizard. I’d recommend backing up your configuration to a thumb drive before messing with it. It can get confusing and if you get too deep into it or something goes wrong, the backup will save you. I’d also suggest upgrading to the latest version of the software if you haven’t already. Instructions to do that are also in the linked document. I have to admit, every time I go into the configuration menus, I wince a bit, but read the directions and take your time and it will go smoothly.

Thanks all. Yeah I looked at the date and time section in the manual and on the control panel and it's all accurate. My Pool company set everything up on Saturday so I am assuming everything is up to date so I don't want to mess with anything.

Anyway.....fast forward to 8am this morning and... BOOM----pump comes on and is reflected on the app at the same time (not an hour delayed like yesterday). I didn't change anything yet it corrected itself somehow. Go figure.
