New SoCal IG shotcrete pool build - equipment set, Final Inspection Passed, Pebble Done! Salt added. Back deck in process

I'm not working from the panel so I don't exactly know. And I'm trying this and having zero luck also. But now I want to figure this out because I like limiting what that phone has access to.

The panel is the key. You have to add the guest account at the panel and invite a guest account via intellicenter2 (in my case a free Gmail account I created today and used to setup the iphone)

I dug into the user feature a little deeper and I think I have it dialed.
First step is definitely to add a user at the panel. If you want to give all guests the same rights you would just need to add 1 user at the panel. In my case I have now added multiple with different rights (ie guests can't mess with temp other than on/off but the boss, my wife, gets added temp control). Once a user is added at the panel then you go into the app (remote only) or web interface (web much easier) ,add the users email, and assign the access level (which is the user you added at the panel) and send the invite. Once they accept they have access to the app with the "rights" you gave them.

Thanks for the follow up on that aspect @Ahultin. I have had a terribly busy and exhausting week so I haven't played with it much. I may get to mess with it some tomorrow.

Decided on tile for raised back deck but a bit lost on the transition. 20220626_221002.jpg
The intent is to have the posts and face done in the same stacked stone to match the raised bond beam on the pool.

Where I am lost is how to transition from the stacked stone to the tile? The quartzite we used for the stacked stone and coping is available in a 3/4" "Mason select " so I am toying with lining the first 18" of deck with that to mimic the coping but am concerned if that will be too thin to overhang the 1 1/2" to match up with the vertical stacked stone face. Any suggestions?

Blue would be the stacked stone (matching the raised bond beam) Red, to the depth of the columns, would be ³/⁴ quartzite ,matching the coping. Green would be the "wood" plank tile. Thinking the tile will be installed as a border two tiles wide around the porch (20") with the field laid diagonal. Enough to provide some visual interest but not so much to overwhelm.20220626_104100~2.jpg

Now I can see it and endorse it!! That is such a pretty idea and I love it!!! What is under the wood on the patio? I do worry about it flexing and the "coping" stone and grout breaking/cracking from the flex. Now it is rock solid then go for it!!!

Oh yea it's solid. The front beam is 6x10 and it carries 2x10 joists at 16" centers.

I have been doing my testing to get used to it while the startup guy is still around. Ph is regularly around 7.8 and takes 12oz muratic acid to get to 7.6 but TA seems real high and doesnt move between 120-130. I have only measured CH once so far and it was 375, CYA seems to be around 30 but that test seems real subjective so im getting used to it. Should i be concerned with any of that as of yet? Plaster is 21 days old currently and still brushing twice daily. Spa spillover is set to come on 15 minutes , twice daily and waterfall 15 minutes per day. The startup guy said he is adding salt and installing the salt cell this Friday.

Deck finish moved forward this week and we are very happy with it thus far. It will pause now for the next two weeks as out tile guy is going out of town for a job. 20220701_083439.jpg
Salt and salt cell was added today! Based on the before/after meter reading we are at 17400 gallons so he added 11 bags. Intellicenter is currently reading 5400ppm and ic40 is flashing high salt but my test kit took 11 drops to go red so 2200ppm . I'm assuming that it just takes time for the salt to fully go Into solution and as he added the bags at the deep end it was sucked into the intake hence the higher read...hopefully 😆

Well I have always heard to "listen" to you SWG as it is the one that is "dealing" with the high or low salt. Your test may be right BUT the SWG is the one that is working with the salt. DARN! Might have to remove and replace some water to get the amount of salt down.

I went and read the manual and it states the same as you, wait 24hours for dilution before checking salinity and powering on the swg. I'm putting on my patience hat, removing power to the swg and waiting the 24 hours 😆
@Turbo1Ton , they hooked up our propane today to the mastertemp and kicked it on to test. The intellivalve for the heater bypass is currently connected to the heater board and while it is getting power, it is not changing position. Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting?

Did you turn the bypass on in the heater menu? In order to gain access to the heater menu, you have to remove the RS485 connection to the heater board.
