Seems I’m averaging about 3/4-1 gallon of chlorine (10%) everyday to maintain my 4-8ppm. Pool looks great. Sound right?

Would splitting it up make any difference? Summer only when adding what I “feel” is a lot. Thanks

No. The requirement is to keep your FC level above minimum for your CYA at all times. When or how you add chlorine to achieve that is up to you.
