OmniLogic App Issues

Just recently finished our new pool and I have been playing around with the OmniLogic app and so far it doesn’t seem to be working properly. Then panel has a hard wired connection to the internet and it seems to be connected but I am constantly getting error messages that say Omni controller has lost connection to router or server not available.
Despite these messages I can use the app to make control the pump, lights, bubblers, etc. however the app doesn’t show that they are working and once they are on I can’t use the app to turn them off.
When I turn the lights on they go on but then the app gets stuck like this. The lights are on but the switch that indicates that they are on shows that they are off. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is the app always this buggy?

I have experienced the same exact issue recently. What version firmware is your controller on?
I just updated it to the latest version today.

I’m pretty sure I know what’s wrong now but I don’t know how to fix it. 😿

I have two VSPs and I think since the update the wrong VSP is operating the water features.

Here is a photo of my set up and what the OmniLogic controls currently operate.

I need to reprogram it so pump 1 operates pool/spa and pump 2 operates water features.

Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks 😺

Also having this issue - did the 4.4.1 update the other day - worked fine for a day or two after and now all i get is the red bar saying omni controller lost connection to router. When i go into network diag i get all green checkmarks indicating that its connected just fine...

Mine is still “squirrley” but has been doing the basic stuff without major issues. One thing that bothers me is the chlorinator SWG refuses to follow a schedule. Luckily it wants to be always on. I have scheules set up to rest the pump for 5 minutes a day to force repriming. I have the SWG shut off 15 minutes prior to cool and flush it. It never turns off. No big deal but I’m left wondering why the SWG ignores its schedule. It doesn’t seem like rocket science for Hayward’s software test department but maybe it is.
