Hey everyone... new pool owner here. When we moved in the past owners said the pool light didn't work, so I'm looking to figure out what I need to do about replacement. I've watched some youtube videos, and my light is not nearly as large as some of the videos I've seen, so wondering what approach I need to take.

Seems the housing on this old one has leaked, and is probably no good. Is there anything I can do to avoid fishing a new wire through the conduit for a new light, or is that my best bet. And also, what light do I need? Would like the ability to change colors in the future too while I'm replacing this. All of my automation gear and pump is Hayward, so I'm guessing this might be a hayward light but figured I'd ask the experts.

Edit - aww Crud, I posted in the wrong section. Sorry...

The light and cord come together as a unit and must be installed that way.

Perfect, got that question answered.

Anyone have any insight into what replacement light I need? Mine doesn't look like any others I've seen online or otherwise.
It looks like an older Jandy LED that is no longer made. Any light that is able to thread into a 1.5" fitting will work as long as the depth of the pipe is long enough. There are many out there now.

I think you're right. Jandy Pro Series LED looks pretty similar.

When I'm looking at new lights, how am I supposed to know if I need a 12v, 120v, etc.? I have a Hayward E-Command 4 automation system if that helps.

The lights that are available will determine whether you need 12 or 120 volts. The E-Command will work with either as it is really just an expensive "on/off" switch. It can send 120v directly to either a light or a transformer.
