Hi All,
My Warrior SE is about two years old - collecting a couple of issues, so figured it was time to see what others' experience has been - there is always the chance I have done something incorrectly
The three issues are:
1. The unit will now only turn on if I cycle the power from the low voltage controller to the cleaner by pulling the low voltage cable for a few second from the controller (or, cycle the main line power at the outlet). Once this is done, all functions (this is a basic model so will run single, or selectable multiple times per week.
- Edit - now I can turn the controller off, then, leaving it off, disconnect the low voltage cable, then replug it in, and the robot will start - without turning the controller on - to be clear, there are no lights on the controller and the robot is happily working away.
2. The low voltage power cable twists a lot ... I know this seems to be an issue and I have dealt with it by untwisting prior to each usage; however, I have note some have moved their floats around on the cable seeking a better solution, without any real improvement. The photo shows where mine was pre-rigged from the manufacturer. Pool is 5.5' deep end and 3.5' shallow end.
3. The low voltage power cable is showing signs of deterioration (see photo). I leave the cleaner in the pool for days at a time - should I not be doing this? Is the deterioration normal - ie anyone else seen this?
As always, thanks in advance!
