Hello! Our pool is under construction still and the builder did a crappy job on our last concrete pour (color not mixed well, divots where the broom hit too hard, aggregate showing through etc). We are wondering if we should take this opportunity to have them correct the issues by applying a coating rather than ripping it out and starting over. We have some existing concrete already so hoping a coating can help tie it all together. We were looking at either Sundeck or Cool!. Does anyone have any experience with either of these? Or is there something else we should look at? Thanks!

Lots of different concrete coatings out there and it seems like once you put on a coating it needs to be redone every few years.
Whatever coating you select find out what needs to be done to recoat the deck when it wears.

We had the same issues with our concrete deck. The PB applied Kool-Deck at his expense.
