Hayward intermittently reporting Relay K1/K2 stuck closed alarms

Over the past few weeks, my Hayward Omnilogic has been intermittently reporting both the K1 and K2 relays stuck closed. The alarms generally spontaneously clear after awhile, but then recur some time later. All of the threads I have seen discuss relay stuck open alarms, but haven't found any about stuck closed. What are the implications of these relays being stuck closed? Is it an indication of something going bad in the cell itself?

Update: I have updated the MSP firmware, checked all the fuses, inspected both front and back of the MPP, inspected and reseated all the connections. Problem still occurs intermittently. The "stuck closed" alarm is always reported on both relays at the same time, and clears on both relays at the same time, so it seems somewhat unlikely to me it is the relays themselves that are the problem. The Omnilogic is about 4 1/2 years old. I replaced the MPP a little over a year ago due to issues with temperature sensors not reporting temperature correctly (all three of air, water, and salt cell temperature all stuck at same value, sensors themselves were fine). The part is expensive (cheapest I've been able to find is about $750), and it's annoying to have to replace this again so soon.

I'm not sure how the Omni tests for stuck relay, but it could be that one of the relays contacts are sticking causing a slow open or that there's buildup on the 'check' set of contacts causing the circuit to think that it's stuck. It's likely common to report both as stuck at the same time.

Replaced the MPP today. You have to reconfigure all the sensors and relays, and at first the salt cell diagnostics were showing no current and relay polarity off even though I set the swg to 100%. Finally realized that I forgot to reconfigure the flow sensor (you have to scroll down on the sensor configuration screen to see it). After configuring that, it is now showing 5.37A (voltage 25.73) and relay polarity K1. But the instant salt is not registering (there is plenty, around 3000 ppm last I tested a couple weeks ago). Temperature and cell type look fine. Any insights as to why the instant salt isn't registering a value?

Checked this morning, instant salt is now reading something in the neighborhood of test level. Not sure why it took so long to populate, since as I understand it the value is calculated based on an algorithm using current, voltage, and temperature. Anyway, all seems to be working normally, I'm generating chlorine, and no alarms so far.
