Bonding plate placement advice

Is it OK to try and hide my bonding plate / 8g wire a little bit more on the inside closer to the wall or should I have it all the way on the outside/backside of the skimmer very visible. I understand the plate goes on the inside. The pic was just to show you, thank you for all your advice and answers.

Position of the bonding plate in the skimmer does not matter as long as the pool wall does not conflict with the screw sticking out.

Mine is positioned pretty much exactly like your picture.

Older picture (I’ve upgraded plumbing since), but you can see it in the back here if you look closely.
