It was a beautiful day, today, low 80’s, so why not switch out the cartridge filters.
Infinity edge basin filter was first;

Next the main filters;

Pool start-up was November 2021.
Look at the dirt in the bottom of the housing;

I did find one issue, the brace that goes on top of the filters was broken;

But a quick text to my builder and they will get me a replacement ordered from Pentair.
Gema, the pool inspector, was happy with all the work;

BPS,

How old were your cartridges? Just curious about how long I can expect mine to last.

Mine are about 8 years old, other than the color, I see no degradation in their operation.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Jim,
Both sets are brand new. I always buy a second set so I can just swap them out and take my time cleaning the dirty ones. In my previous experience they last me over 10 years.
