Drywell Pump

Hello, we have a new vinyl liner pool that when we get heavy rain the liner floats. This is now the second time we have had to drain and have liner reset. We do have a dry well already under the pool but clearly that’s not helping the situation. Is there a pump that can attach to the drywell pvc pipe that will pull the water out from under the pool?

This is what it is there for. The one I ordered on Amazon isnt available right now, but just make sure you get it strong enough based on the depth (head) that it will need to pump. For me, I have a 1/3 HP submersible with auto on/off... but it has an internal float, so it easily drops down the pipe. You will need to verify your pipe width to make sure the pump you purchase will fit. I havent needed it except before the pool decking was installed. When I did, it would run for an hour or so to remove 6" or so of water. It isnt a fast process unless you can find a powerful pump that will fit in that tube.

-- edit - added photos of mine. I made the assumption you have a similar pipe.

Cowboy, that second one might be too wide. The OP needs to check the sump pipe width. For instance, mine is a 8" pipe. The first one *might* squeeze in, but that second one looks to big for my installation.
