I recently remodeled my pool and added new Intellibrite 120V 5G Color LED lights (one for the pool and one for the spa) and a Pentair EasyTouch 8 with Screenlogic2. The guy that wired the EasyTouch was a disaster so I ended up firing him and fixed the wiring mistakes myself (thanks to the help of this forum). The last thing I need to fix is wiring the light to the EasyTouch. Right now, the lights are controlled by a double light switch near the pool (one switch for the pool, one for the spa). The wires then go into the panel (far left conduit in the picture) with a white, green, and black going to the GFCI outlet. From the outlet, one white goes to the common bar, then a red goes to CB2. I know that they need to be wired to one of the relays (in this case I would use relay #3), but I am not sure how to wire it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Z,

The black wire is currently what is powering your lights... All you need to do interrupt the black wire with the relay contacts..

I'd cut the black wire.. I'd then connect the end of the black wire coming out of the GFCI receptacle to the Line side of you Aux 2 relay (3rd relay). I'd then connect the end of the black wire coming out of the conduit to the Load side of the Aux 2 relay.. When the relay closes both lights will come on.

Obviously, you will need to use some extra black wire and wire nuts to make the wires long enough to reach the Aux 2relay..
I would then jumper or by-pass the current light switches so that they no longer work.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thanks Jim! I will work on that later today!

Hey Jim,

Your were spot on as usual and now the lights work with the app. If you are ever in Southern California, dinner is on me!
Thanks again for all of your help!
