My pool was just completed last week. I got my pool school tutorial with a million details thrown at me in 3 minutes. My Jandy pump has a remote that I operate everything from. One thing I did not catch was how to turn my SPA jets on. I can get the air blower going but I don't even think they showed me the jets. They are coming back out in a few days and I can get all my answers then but figured I'd check here first and see if anyone is familiar.
(and right out of the gate with my first post on here I realized I posted in the wrong section. I'll be happy to delete but if the mods can move to equipment that would be much appreciated)

If you have a pool and an attached spa then on your automation system there should be 2 modes. One is Pool Mode and the other is Spa Mode. When in Spa Mode, the suction to the pump is from the spa and the return it to the spa jets.
Maybe post a picture of your equipment pad from different angles so we can verify that you have 2 valves - one on the suction side of pump and another on the return side (after the filter and heater). Those valves determine what mode you are in.

thanks! pic posted above. In that pic the two valves on top are in the SPA positions. From there I go into SPA on my remote and I can turn on blower and i get bubbles. I just haven't figured out how to get the jets on. When I go into SPA mode I have turned off the pump, should that remain on?

Your valves in the picture are correctly set for SPA. Sadly, you do not have an automation system to handle that for you. It will get old quick manually moving the valving.

Your pump and blower should be on to enjoy the spa. You can adjust the rpm of the pump to set what type of force you like out of the jets.

Be sure the mineral thing is removed from the Nature 2 device. You do NOT want metals in your pool water.

Thanks. The automation is on its way, like everything else right now it was not available at this time.
and what the frick is the Nature 2 device?

The gray box just before the return valve. It has your SWCG cell and a mineral package in it. Remove the mineral package. The company needs to give you the cap for it.

Once the valves are set for SPA Mode as you have in the picture, then turn on the pump. This will create suction from the spa drain and the return will be through your spa jets. Also, if you click on your heater then this will increase the temperature in the spa only. Also, you can turn on the air blower to create bubbles in your spa jet returns.

When you get the automation, they will install controllers on top of those same 2 valves. So when you press Spa Mode, the pump will turn off, then the valves will rotate and then the pump will turn back on. The opposite will happen when you switch to Pool Mode.

Those blue twist handle valves are manual ONLY and most likely control your water features. It would be good to mark which each controls. Also, it looks like you have a 2 inch line return and another 1 1/2 inch line with Jandy valves on each. Obviously one of those is the return lines in your pool. Is the other to a water feature? It would be good to mark every line so you or another family member knows what goes to what.

Also, based on your set up, your water features cannot operate when in Spa Mode. Only in Pool Mode.

It would be good to update your signature with all the equipment and features you allow others to understand what you have.

There are several youtube videos highlighting all the benefits however in this video attached, the pool tech describes some of the downside with some positives. So you can have both views. Basically the mineral packet has silver and copper in it that is slowly released into the pool water.
