Hi everyone, I have a new Raypak RCAGP100 pump. 1 HP
My electrician came yesterday and bonded my above ground pool, but he did not attach it to the pump because he couldn’t see a lug on it.
Now I’m worried we won’t pass out inspection today.
I’ll attach some photos. Any help is so appreciated! 2ABBBAD4-331E-470D-AF63-07F96C448E0D.jpegA262AAFF-8B1B-439F-8AAD-883D2544C951.jpeg0941FA4C-938A-46A6-9E8F-5B099213966D.jpeg

Thank you!!
Yes I wondered what was in there! Tried my best to get a photo. There’s a hole, and there’s also a little post sticking out that is threaded on the inside it would appear.

I would say that is it but the clamp and screw fell out... You may have to get to it by opening the back part of the pump... Finding a screw to connect the clamp is going to be fun... Did you buy the pump local, if so take it back and get one with the correct part... if not you are goin to have to find something copper to connect it..

That looks like a double-insulated type pump/motor that plugs into a 110v receptacle. Does the plug end of the cord have one two prongs? You may just have to ask the inspector how you are to bond it - if the inspector brings it to your attention first.

Thank you! Since the inspector is coming today, I guess I’ll just have to see what they say.
yes, it’s a plug in type with two prongs plus the ground.

Two prongs plus a ground prong isn't usually double-insulated. Chances are you will need to attach it to the bonding grid.
