I have a in ground pool, built in 1995. I moved in 5 years ago. I don't know the history of this pool. It has a weird added plastic insert at the one end that all the plumbing goes into. The skimmer is on one side and has two jets on the other side. The concrete was cut out to add this at some point. The pool has never had great circulation. I've also never has great suction for vacuuming with my hose, and my creepy crawly pool cleaner will not work. Has a 1.5 HP Hayward pump and a sand filter. I believe plumbing is 2".
We would like to have a new liner installed since this one is faded really bad and I've had to make multiple patches for leaks.
Has anyone ever seen a retro fitted skimmer jet setup like this? I've reached out to some pool companies and am waiting for someone to come out. Hoping to hear some suggestions on what I should change?
