I am finishing the construction of our new pool. All the plumbing inside the pool is complete, but need to finish the pool pad design and installation. I have a design in mind (attached), but would like to have someone review it for sanity sake as I am not a "pool guy". I will gladly pay someone for their expertise if they will spend an hour going through this plan for me.

Welcome to TFP! Good to have you here :)

One quick question that I think others besides me will ask. There are quite a few 'small circle small v' symbols, standing for "valve". In most cases, they are upstream from a jandy 3-way valve, so they seem redundant to me. The 3-way valve can:

Close off any of the three lines completely
Modulate between two upstream or downstream lines (e.g. 10/90, 60/40, 75/25)
Or close off two lines by closing off the line that has pump effort applied to it

Also, is the equipment pad above or below the pool waterline?

Thank you for the reply. Yes, the small V are just ball valves. I ran all the lines to the equipment pad and put in ball valves that I could hook my pressure testing rig to. They will be redundant once the Jandy valves are in place.

The equipment is located above the pool waterline. However, that brings up a great point I hadn't thought of, the spa waterline is 18" higher than the pool waterline and I would like the spa to overflow (waterfall) into the pool. That puts the Spa waterline above the equipment.
